My turn signals are not working and I have checked the obvious. Need a wiring diagram to trace the problem. Thanks.

What, specifically, have you checked? These cars have a 'multi-function' switch........that would be the turn signal lever that has the wiper and dimmer incorporated into it. If this 'switch' starts to go bad, it can cause a myriad of problems. do your hazards work? Have you checked to see if you have power in and out of the turn signal lever? I have a Chilton's manual that has about 20 pages of wiring, so if you need something scanned and emailed I would be happy to help. I ended up having to replace mine after it decided I didn't need headlights anymore. I had to pull the switch and engineer a jumper wire to get my headlights to work. If you do indeed need a new one, 5.0resto has them for around $80 last I looked, and they are Ford parts.

I was going to scan the diagram, but I don't have my Chilton or my Haynes... but I will try to get a wiring diagram from a Ford site if you still need one. However, it wouldn't be until the late afternoon.

Good luck, I hate wiring problems.

Hazards work and so do the wipers. The heater blower doesn't work either but I don't think that is related to this.

Do turn signals and hazard use the same flasher?

Thanks CJ. Looks like I need to test the turn signal switch.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Thanks.

they use different flasher units. i asked about the hazards working to verify the wiring from the MLS to the turn signal bulbs. Turn signal flasher should be behind center of I/P below radio.

on the blower: does it work only on HIGH or not at all?? if high only, then check blower motor resistor, if not at all then check Fuse#9 30Amp
