Hey i just got a 91 gt and trying to hook up a radio to it but we cant get it to work. what color is the power wire we cheak the wires to see if any gets power and the tester never light up. any help would be needed.

i think its a red wire there should also be a yellow wire that you wire up with the red 1 so when i turn the ignition the radio turns on.

None of the wires for the radio has power and all of the fuses are good . Does the power wire powers the radio and the factory amp? I've got the factory plugs for the radio and plugs for the amp.

There will be a yellow wire for constant 12+ and a red wire for switched 12+. I would double check all the fuses. If they are fine then it would be easiest to just run a new constant and switched than trying to tear the whole car apart to find the problem; if its not draining your battery. There are plenty of constant and switched wires you can splice into under the dash. Just make sure you add a fuse depending on what wires you decide to splice into. And definately solder everything.
