1991 Mustang GT with Dying problem...Help please

Alright well i have a 91 with the mods listed. It was running good for a while then about a month ago it started to run pretty bad and die. It would sometimes not even start or take a while to. I changed the iac a couple weeks before that. I just changed the tfi module and it ran pretty well. I could smell gas pretty bad while it idled. i drove it around and it was pretty good. I then decided to drive it home. It started to die at lights when i came to an idle or laid of the gas. It would fire right back up fine and would stay idling, kinda low at like 700ish though. Any ideas? Thanks:wavey

You changed the module, but what about the pickup inside the distributor?
I would also take a look at the pickup. If not order a new one like I did, MSD Pro Billet, mine was having the same symptoms and was completely cleared up with a new dizzy.
Ya thats what i was goin to do next because thats what my uncle said it might be. Can i by the part individually or do i need a whole new dizzy?
Alright well i went ahead and bought a remanufactured one from kragens for $130. Just wondering if i should get a new cap and rotor as well, or atleast a new rotor. I also needed a steel gear not the cast iron one, correct?
