Hello
A month ago I bought a 92 mustang and I'm having troubles with the EVAP system failing the emissions test. I vacuum tested the line from the charcoal canister to the fuel tank and it held vacuum. I replaced the fuel filler grommet because it was ripped but it still didn't pass the test. Can the vent on top of the tank go bad? Any input would be appreciated.

No check engine light is on. It won't pass because it does not hold pressure due to a leak somewhere in the EVAP system. They pressure test it between the filler neck and right before the carbon canister.

I got the problem fixed, it was the grommet for the vapor valve.

Now I can start thinking about mods.:scratchchin
