Does anyone have a diagram of how to hook up the vacuum lines under neat the dashboard for the a/c?

Everything i hooked up except i have one yellow line hanging out and i cannot figure out where it goes. That may be the reason why the air does not blow through the front vents.

Check the engine bay on the driver's side firewall. That is where I found a cracked line. I fixed it and the air blew through the dash vents again

If the HVAC controls lose vacuum, the system will shift to the defrost (windshield) mode automatically. Ford did this for safety reasons to ensure the best possible visibility.

How do I fix the problem? The HVAC controls?

I think the problem is the yellow line hanging down. Because it does blow through the defrost and on the floor.

i know its a little late reply, but the yellow line goes up into the dash by the steering colum into a gold colored silinoid. it is easier to unscrew the relays so you can reach.
