Hello, I am a student at lincoln tech and one of my instructors is restoring a 92 lx convertible and we have run into a snag. The weather stripping that he bought is very generic it fits hatchback and convtibles but it comes with no cutting instructions and the strip on the A piller does not tuck in properly and does not look OEM. Does anyone know how the stock weather stripping looks like? Any photos? Please help!

You might have him contact the dealer that he bought the stuff from and get some advice. The reproduction and one-size-fits all stuff is the root of a lot of installation and fitment problems... ;)

The generic weatherstripping has fitment issues because it's a one size fits all. He need to get the kit that's meant for his car for the best possible result.
