Hey, guys! I could really use your help; I was working on the rear-quarter windows yesterday for my '93 Convertible by replacing the motors, guide-rod mounts, and bushings, so in-order to do that I had to remove the seat-belt mount. Well, when I went to replace it (on the passenger side), the seat-belt locked-up on me and still remains locked; it will retract, but won't release. Does ANYBODY have a solution to help me? I'm sure you know how frustrating it is to have your baby screwing-up on you, lol!

Only idea I have is. I know if the seat belt is not of the proper mounted in proper direction etc. It will lockup. Have had it happen. Usually move it around and put in proper direction like it is mounted it unlocked. Hope that helps. Got a 93 vert. Hope to be with it soon. Painting it may have to wait. Maurice

Do the 93's have the seatbelt button in the door jam like my 89? Mind was removed, I assumed that was the reason.

I figured it out; while working the pendulum weight got rocked around and that locked it, so I kind-of banged it down for the weight to release and it worked!
