Hello:wavey I have a 93 5.0 mustang when its running my tranny makes a cherping noise but as soon as I push the clutch pedal down the cherping STOPS!! I figured it was the throwout bearing so I checkedout the forums to see what I could findout before I start takin her apart and have heard that it could be the pilot bearing so Im getting kinda confused because alot of people say it could be one or the other by when it makes noise mine only makes noise when the clutch isnt pressed when I push the pedal down it stops I just dont want to do all that work to replace the wrong thing and it still cherp its driving me CRAZY I also have a aftermarket heavy duty clutch and pressure plate that work great but want to make sure I get a good throwout bearing that will hold up instead of a stock one any suggestions ? PLEASE HELP!!!
