Hi a friend of mine just got a 1993mustang...it seems to be a pretty stock car...the car doesnt not have a AC unit...was this done by the previous owner or was this a factory option?

Yes, this was removed by previous owner to free up potential horsepower, if you are looking in replacing it here is just one place for referral to assist you:

mind you this is just a referral not necessarily the best deal out there, though it may be. Oh just incase the horsepower from that delete was anywhere from 5 to 15hp depending on motor, nothing compared to riding with the ac blowing. Good Luck :bigthumbsup
dang so none of them came with factory air? and is it bad that the powersteering pumps where the ac supposed to be?
no they came with a/c but undereducated people remove them thinking that it will free up horsepower, a/c only uses horsepower and more fuel only when it is on, when the a/c is off it requires next to nothing because the a/c compressor just acts as a idler pulley
