I have a 93 LX 5.0 as stated and I had the motor rebuilt and we removed the a/c compressor. I need another belt for it. What length will I need and will I need to do anything else to make it work? Thanks

Hi,If you do not want to buy the a/c eliminator kit you can cut your old belt and route it around the pulley system auntl it touches the end and measure the length.Be sure to have the tensioner in the up position to get the right measurement. After you get the length just go to the parts store and get the new belt.

Okay I just figured one of you would know the measurement. The car is about an hour away at my cousins shop.

That graphic should help you out, I might need to keep that one myself.

you should not need to use an eliminator. Belts come in 1/2 inch increments. If you have your old belt, use the cut to length method mentioned above. It took me several trips to the auto parts store, but I did get one that was just right.
