I got a 93 notchback lx. I changed the headgaskets and ever since I did that the stang has had a weird idle problem. It starts, revs to like 3500-4000 rpm's then it just dies and doesnt want to stay running. Any help would be awesome. Thanks

Buddy and i put a set of edelbrock heads on and we had issssssues. Are timing was off, would start and run for a little and pop and then cut off. I would check your timing, leaks, we also had a bad IAC . went to junk yard replaced for 6$$ car runs great..

Sounds like a major vacuum leak. Once i forgot to put the EGR valve back on, tried starting it, and it done the same thing yours is doing. Worth a looks see:gringreen
