Hi, i hope you can help me. I have a 94 3.8 and i am getting the po303 misfire and i have changed the coil pack, the wires and the plugs. I thought maybe the injector my be open all the time because i had gas coming out the tailpipe. i diconnected the injector for cyl. 3 and the rod knocks after it rus a min. i think this is from a lean cyl.i have read that the pcm is what controls the injectors and it has been known to feed power the whole time the key is on. could this give me the misfire code and make it skip and knock that bad. any help you can give i thank you. jeff

I've had the #6 injector stick open on my 94 V6 I used to have and it was because of the PCM ground being burnt out. The PCM always supplies power to the injectors, and pulses the ground. But I don't recall it ever knocking really bad. If you have fuel pushing out the pipes, you probably have an injector stuck open, which more than likely means the PCM has to be replaced.
