Hey guys,

Thanks in advance for your answers, as always

Im going with a simple aftermarket set of halogen 55-watt. As I've always done with older cars, I just spliced-off the old rotten connectors where the factory bulbs the housings, and hard-wired them where they used to connect. They work fine, but:

1. I don't know what wattage the factory ones use, so will using these 55-watt fogs be okay? I assume they should, but I also know what assuming does sometimes...

And for my last question...

2. How can I bypass having to have my headlights on while running my fog lights with my corner-park-lights? What I mean is, I would sometimes like to be able to run just my corner-park-lights with my fogs, without having to have my headlights on... I guess I just think it gives some cars a more aggressive look at dusk!

It looks like the stock bulbs (BP893) are 37.5W. So between the two, you're using about 3A more current. This is about a 25% bump so you probably won't stress the wiring factor-of-safety, so if you don't blow a fuse somewhere it's probably just fine.

Here's a link to help you accomplish just what you're looking for:
