my 1994 mustang is having issues again...... I have put new headlights on the car recently I have been having problems with them cutting out and then affter a short period of time turn right back on. they dont dim or flicker they are off and on period. I still have my blinkers and flashers just the headlights any ideas? i do not know if this would be caused by the new ones they do require a little bit more power then the old ones. I have drove it for over a month after installing the new headlights before I started having issues, I only drove it at night so I know this for sure. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.. I should also add I have wiggled the wiring and haven’t been able to make the headlights short out and it will do it and then go a week or two before it dose it again. thanks

Thanks I will replace that switch and see what happens the frustrating part is I wont know if its fix or not. Is there a way of knowing how much current they are drawing and how much the breaker can handle?

I have this same problem on my 70.. I thought it was the wiring, but I checked all the wiring and nothing is wrong with it. I'm going to check out my switch as well, let me know what fixes your problem so I can trouble shoot for my car and hopefully get that issue fixed so I can drive this baby at night
