My sister's mustang is a v6 convertable and the transmission will kick out of overdrive while driving. Has anyone come across this before? Could it be a Relay or the Switch? Just come across this forum and thought I would ask. Thanks.

I had the same problem while driving, it would kick out of o/d to 3rd, and back to o/d again. Replaced the 3 main solenoids in the gearbox and later the CCRM (relay module). I can't remember if this completely solved the issue before i took out my faulty chip, but it now shifts great again. My advice start with the solenoids or the relay module...
