My '95 3.8 liter started yesterday, then I drove it a few feet in the driveway, and it has refused to start since. Last summer I found a hole in the top of the fuel tank so I replaced the tank, the pump, the filter, all the rear components. Right now, I can push on the Schrader valve pin until I turn blue to no effect. Key to Accessory produces a pump hum. So the pump gets power, the car has gas, the fuel rail has no pressure. Is the pressure regulator the most likely problem? Can it go (finger snap) just like that?

I would say the pressure regulator is a possible problem. I would also check the filter. If its clogged the system will pressure up but nothing will get past it. I would pull the filter first and attach a pressure gauge to the end of the line and see how much its pushing. Be extremely careful though cause it will be under some pressure and gas in the face is not a good way to start the day if it comes loose. Good luck.
