I have a 95 Cougar with a 4.6l and i was wondering if i could use the front brake calipers from a mustang. i would like the dual piston calipers on my car. i was also wondering how hard it would be to swap out my rear drum brakes to disk. it has an 8.8'' rear end. thanx for putting up with my non mustang crap.

Try StangPlus2Birds' site: veryuseful.com -- I think it is a great site for brake info and how-to articles.

I am pretty sure that you can mount '99 calipers on your car but you will have to grind a little off the existing spindle to have the caliper clear properly.

HTH,

Chris

EDIT:
Hold the phone, lol. Try "forums.tccoa.com" and go to the Brakes sub-forum. You can run a search using "PBR caliper swap". You have to type in the displayed numbers and letters on the search page but there is no fee associated with the site as far as I can tell.
END of EDIT.
