I am swapping a '95 Explorer 8.8" rear into my 'Stang, everything is going ok, I got my leaf spring perches going good, the only problem seems to be the driveshaft. My passenger-side muffler is obstructing the pinion gear adapter for the rear-end. Has anyone else done this swap before? Or maybe a 90's 'Stang 8.8" swap and run into the same problem? :headscratch:

If the flange type of pinion yoke is still mounted to the pinion, you may have to change to the early style yoke or move the muffler.

Be aware that changing yokes may upset the tooth meshing pattern between the ring gear and pinion if you are not careful.
