Good Morning,
I have been trying to restore the original stock 460 sound system in my 95 gt vert. It had an aftermarket deck and home speaker wire running everywhere. Have got all the speakers reconnected and checked all the plugs to the amps. Including the front one.

My problem is there is just no volume. If I turn it all the way up (engine off) put my head to the speaker, I can hear the radio.

I purchased (what I was told) was a mach 460 deck. But I don't know what they are supposed to look like. It doesn't have any writing to indicate that is indeed a Mach 460.

I have gone through the fuses in the engine compartment. all good. I'm at a loss for how to proceed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I want to say the buttons are different in the lower left side. I'm sorry I can't be more accurate. Almost any aftermarket setup is better and easier to install than the Mach 460. I do like factory interior though.

Home speakers are 8 Ohm
Car speakers are 4 Ohm

A car speaker is twice the volume using the same amount of power.

Check the impeadence of the speaker you're using, should be 4 ohms.
