I have a 95 gt and want to put a 351w in it

It'll bolt in the car and the T-5 will bolt right up to it. Just need the 5.8 intake. I would find a junk yard or ebay for one. I beleive the ones in the late 70's were the better ones. It's been awhile on that.
Welcome lets try your question in here.
Anyone wanting to conduct business, take the matter to PM's as there's no advertising/wanting to buy/have something to sell posts allowed in the main forums.
The swap is basically the same for a sn95 as it is for a Fox... the only difference AFAIK is that the sn95's have slightly less hood clearance....
Fox 351w Fox Body Swap

It takes a little more than a 351w intake, but it isn't that tough...

Thanks I have a few guys that say it will go right in there and some say it will not. Will i need to get power steering pump or will all my front comp. work. No one around here has ever done it. I have been told none of the brackets wiil fit.

your 302 accessory brackets will not work on a 351
The engine will fit with no problem, but the 302 bracketry will not work due to increased size of the engine.
You'll need 351 specific:
oil pan
oil pump
oil pump driveshaft
distributor
flywheel/flexplate
harmonic balancer
lower intake
accessory brackets
headers

302 parts that will interchange:
timing cover
water pump
engine mounts
valve covers
heads (if 7/16 bolt holes drilled out to 1/2 inch)
upper intake
camshaft, if meant for 351 firing order
fuel rail, if rear crossover is modified

thanks sounds like more trouble than its worth with my buget i wiil keep all info appriciate it
if i could locate a good motor out of a full size bronco or heavy truck would that be my best bet i want it to look as close to stock as possible you know a sleeper

When I did the swap around 2002, I priced out the 'bare minimum' it would take to convert.... Around $800 to $900 IIRC
It really isn't that complicated, once you realize that the only real difference between the 302 and 351w is the deck height, and thus width.

The brackets on the passenger side bolt up just fine.
The brackets for p/s and a/c require an adapter bracket, which is still available from Ford. Jegs and Summit carries them.

There are also conversion kits you can buy through Summit or Jegs (don't remember at the moment).

The link above goes into all of this is some detail...

Which 302 upper intake are you bolting up to a 351w lower intake?
Some of the aftermarket ones were designed for this, but the GT40 is the only Ford manifold I can think of that would do this....
