1995 Mustang GT Fuel Pressure reading at 20 PSI, Please help me.

I am trying to figure out why my fuel pressure is sitting at 20 PSI still, after I changed out my fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel pressure regulator. It's not misfiring at all. I hooked a gauge up to the fuel rail, and before i changed out parts it read 20 PSI, same with after. Could my factory chip have been flashed at one time or what would cause that low of pressure? Is there anyway to reflash my computer? I had the mufflers cut out a while back to make it louder, would that have done anything? It runs like a champ, but just too low of a pressure reading. Any help is appreciated. Don't want to be buying parts I don't need to fix.

Is the gauge you are trying to read fuel pressure with any good?
Fuel system is a closed system. If you already replaced pump, regulator, and filter then only other thing is a blocked line it would seem.

I would disconnect fuel line at both ends and used pressurized air to flush it out. Maybe use some gumout in the fuel tank to clean the system up. May take a few tanks to get it too work.

Surprising you don't have idle/running issues with low fuel pressure.

your gauge might not be reading correctly, ultimately you can add an adjustable fuel pressure regulator but since you have no drivability issues, I don't see any problem here
i bet there are driveability issues that you cant recognize yet. it probably isnt making the power it could and if it gets really warm then it could vapor lock... ive dealt with a similar situation lol.

but if youre firm in your belief that its runnung ok then i bet your gauge is off. see if you can get your hands on another one

yeah i agree, verify that the gauge is good by trying a known good working gauge.then you can go from there with the next solution.
Fixed pressure

I got it fixed, it was the gauge that a certain auto parts place had that was faulty. I took my 5.0 to a mechanic shop that know stangs in and out, he hooked up his gauge and it read at 32 psi. She runs like a champ now, even with 135,000 miles on the motor.
