what is the best short throw shifter for me..i got a 95 5.0 mustang..i have centerforce dual friction clutch and bbk adjustable quadrant

anyone use a mac before? or a steeda? so in your guys opinion pro 5.0 is the way to go?

·not familar with the mac .....
have driven cars with the steeda shifter ...not bad
i have to go with the Pro 5.0 hands down....:bigthumbsup

I have the Steeda in my 5.0 and I love it. If you want the shortest feeling I think it would go to the Pro 5.0 I personally like the spring in the Steeda that helps line up for third gear, I don't know if others offer that?

The Pro 5.0 has a mechanism to make the 2-3 shift practically by itself, it's great to have but one thing I've noticed with the Pro 5.0 is when going to 5th... you almost have to mail in the request to make that shift, you almost have to raise up out of the seat. What I did was get the Steeda handle, put it onto the Pro 5.0 and then it's great. Solid and comfortable.
Hurst, B&M, MGW, Steeda, all of them are light years better than the sloppy stock shifter, you can't go wrong with any of them.

thanks alot looks like im going with either a steeda or pro 5.0....pro 5.0 is what all the mustang mags seem to recommend too
