I hope you had a good Memorial Day weekend. I am looking for information about using the SCT tuner on my 95 V6. I understand the 94-95 V6s used a "transitional" OBD II, and the crank sensor is not directly connected to the EEC - along with some other wiring differences. I am curious if the SCT is able to advance/retard ignition timing along the power band; also if the SCT is capable, on the 94-95 EEC, of programming for power adds (turbo, etc) and gear changes; also if there are any tuner capabilities that cannot be utilized on the 94-95 EECs
I'm not really sure what else to ask because I'm a new guy to tuning. I am building a streetable road track car - mostly just running track days with my buds and driving to work a couple days a week. So I'm just wondering if it's worth it to invest in a tuner for the 95. The car will be getting new goodies every few months, and I just don't like the idea of waiting for a new chip every time.
