Hello,
My name is Kern Fischer from St. Charles, IL. The first new car that my wife and I owned was a 1965 Mustang coupe which we purchased with all the right options for $ 2704 out the door. We had it until 1974.
My wife currently drives a 1996 GT w/Automatic. It has not been modified but does go to the track for driving schools now and then. The last outing was Road America last fall.
Other Fords currently in the stable include a 1989 T-Bird SC and the English Ford, a Jaguar XJ-S Convertible. Both have extensive suspension modifications and the T-Bird also has upgrades in the engine area. Both have also visited the race track at various times.
I am a graduate automotive engineer with some experience in the Detroit automotive industry before setting out as an Entrepreneur. I own an automotive accessory distributorship and have just started a new road racing organization that is designed to let drivers use their street cars in road racing.
I have been around sports car activities for over 40 years and have competed with good success. I have also been active as a performance driving coach, both in-car and classroom, for over 20 years with club schools and a professional school.
