My Passenger side window has been dead for a while now and recently my driver side window has started acting up. First it would roll down but not up then if I left it alone for a while I might get lucky and it would roll back up. Then it got to the point that when I would try to roll down the window it would work sometimes but other times when I hit the button it would just turn off my radio. Now it doesn't work at all ever. I assume because of the radio issue that it's not the motor but I don't know where to start to try to fix it. Any ideas would help.
Thanks :)

First, is this an after market radio? Is it possible that the radio has been wired into the window circuit (I/P 14). OBTW, the window circuit uses an automatic resetting circuit breaker. Which can explain the come and go behavior.

Next, check the ground behind the center console. It is shared by multiple devices including the radio. It is frequently messed up during a radio install. The power windows are also grounded via G300 which is located "below rear center console".

Also not a bad idea to check the grounds around the battery and radiator core support. Are the battery terminals clean and tight?

Had the same thing happen to me. Check the wiring in the doors for the window motors. You will probably find a wire stripped back touching the door frame. Check both doors. If you do not find it in the doors check the rest of the wiring. My money is on a short. I chased this for months on my car, good luck!
