If its got the right amount of freedom, its either the pressure switch, wiring, magnetic ring, clutch, or the compressor. Does it make any noise? Start by checking the fuses, and maybe bypass the pressure switch to see if that's the problem, but don't leave it bypassed for long.
1997 Mustang A/C does not work
The AC does not work on my 97 GT. There are no leaks at all. It holds freon, but the compressor does not come on. The clutch spins freely also. Any suggestions to try or possibilities of what it could be?
