I have a 97 v6 that just recently had gasket problems. i replaced all the gaskets from the timing chain to water pump. so basically i took apart the from of the engine. well after i put everything back together i noticed that it has a late throttle response:headscratch:, something that had not :nono:happen before i changed the gaskets. im not sure if its the cam sensor placed wrong or if that the computer needs to adapted to my driving? havent drivin it sence i replaced the gaskets. please help. anyone.:yakyak:

girlfriend had the same problem and all it was, was a miss firing piston cuz of the spark plug... changed plugs and wires and she ran like new

I did go ahead and change the chain. I dont think its the plug cause the engine would vibrate like crap but it dont it runs fine just that it has a late response time, oh and i didnt remove the heads or anything like that
