Hey everyone im new, Yesterday I went and looked at a 1998 mustang GT convertible and I test drove it. I liked the power and the look and feel of the car, and Im pretty sure tommarow im going back to buy it. I was just wondering some pointers to look at when buying a used car and do the convertibles wheigh much more than the hard tops? Thanks

How much are they asking, and what color is it? Have you checked what your insurance will be? The 94-98s are better looking than the 99-04s IMO. To get the same performance as a 99-04 it will take a good amount of cash and work but if it doesn't matter, get it! Good luck!
I think $8k is too high but $6k on the other hand is about right. Don't worry about the miles, have a reputable mechanic check it out for you before you buy it. That same engine was in tons of cabs and squad cars that saw 150k+ miles.
Yea, its been dropped probably 1.5 inches or so. I love those stock wheels! You got a great deal, enjoy and feel free to ask questions. :winks
