So as I mentioned in another thread I bought a 98 GT coupe. The GT was in a wreck and the frame's bent a bit so I'm planning on just swapping everything over to my 96. I don't know much about mechanics so I'm gonna let one of the local shops do the swap. To keep the costs reletivly low I'm gonna do the rearend swap myself. Would I have to make any sort of modifications to get the GT rearend in? Or is it just a straight bolt in? Also...Suspension...Would I have to swap out the suspension? Or will my current suspension work? I plan on upgrading it soon and don't wanna spend money on getting it swapped out if my current suspension will do for now. I know that the 4.6 is heavier, but will it really screw up my car? This is my daily driver(only car). Any advice'll be greatly appreciated.
