Hello everyone, I have a 98' Mustang Gt and installed HID headlights About a year ago. And just recently started having problems with my stock alternator and my electrician told me I would need a new one soon that the HID's headlights are draining to much from it. Including sometimes when i turn on my car and turn the lights on the Revolutions go up by itself. Without me pressing on the gas peddle. Supposably they are Signs of an unbalanced electrical system.. And I am thinking of buying a 200amp Alternator and a good battery. But im not to familiar with all that.. Is a 200amp Alternator good enough? and what battery should I buy ? I want them both the Alternator and the battery to be in good high balance... Any suggestions?? Thank You all
