hi im nick, i have a 1998 v6 convertible and for about a month i've had this weird screetching sound from the drivers side rear wheel, i took of the tire to check it out and the brake pads were fine but what weird is the noise is when braking AND accelerating so im lost. I was thinking maybe a warped brake rotor but im not sure, any suggestions?
you would feel some pulsating if the rotor was warped. if you think it sounds like the brakes pull the pads off and coat the backs of the pads where they touch the piston and frame of the caliper, and where they fit into and slide on the calipers with high temp grease. that could be it
