I have a 1998 ford Mustang convertible that I recently just installed a system into. It took me a while, had to make some custom mounts including a trunk liner, and alot of planning. I am now satisfied with my system and for my car being a convertible the Bass hits extremely hard.

Things I have

>> 200 Amp Alternator

>> Big 3 upgrade

>> KnuKonceptz 4 Gauge wiring.

>> Hifonics 1600 watts RMS

>> Some crappy Visonik amp for the new Hifonics door speakers

>> Custom mount I made for the trunk

I was just wanting to post to get yalls opinions and to let you now a massive system can sound good in a Convertible!

Haha no kidding! I cant believe the trunks are so tiny common Ford wha were you thinking?

Yeah Haha, I had to remove the trunk latch. I really wish I could have removed the back seats to put one bigger box in but the dang convertible motors in the way!

How big are the boxes? as in ft^3 wise?
You should really try porting those subs. Output would increase a ton.
Nice on the big 3, looks cleaner than mine haha

Thanks.. Hey get your wires from knukonceptz.com there stuff is legit.. Man my boxes are ultra tiny and I hate it..there .7 ft without sub displacement..I wish I had a bigger box for each of them but my damn trunk is too tiny...you know any boxes that will fit?

I prefer Kicker, nothing better IMO. I've used Knu on other installs and wont ever use it for me. You could get a bigger box if you got rid of that amp rack thing. Shoot me your dimensions I could whip something up for you real quick on bass box pro if you wanted.. I'm too lazy to go measure my car haha
