The Mustang would win for sure unless he had different gears on (that would be pointless for a truck)! I beat a later 90s Chevy 1500 up a hill one time. In other words Trucks Are Slow! A '93 Mustang with a 2.3 in it would definitely beat my '93 2.3L Ranger in a Race.

yeah, thats what i figured. this kid loves to brag about his V8 in his truck but when he let me drive it, it was weak and accelerated like a snail.

It must be an older model, he newer ones arent no slouch. But if it is early 90-mid 90's ya might get him.

The average truck does a better job of " pulling cars"

Not "pulling on cars" .

Ok. So instead of a sport lets say its an R/T vs a 3.8l. I've heard the quarter-mile time of a stock R/T is 15.5sec -15.8sec while the mustangs run around 14 seconds. I don't know how accurate this information is. I've driven my buddy's r/t and it seems a lot faster than my 2000 3.8l.
