There is a noise coming from my clutch that is rpm related and sounds like a ranger pickups cooling fan (high pitched, changes with engine speed) The noise goes away with light pressure on the clutch pedal, but is there when the pedal is released AND/OR pressed all the way in. I've tried adjusting the cable, no help. The fluid level is correct, and the clutch has only 700 miles on it with no hard driving yet. Any suggestions much appreciated, I'm running out of patience and ideas.

Sounds like either the throwout bearing or pilot bearing.

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured, guess I'm hoping for a miracle easy solution so I don't have to pull the damn tranny again, but I don't really think that's gonna happen. I did the clutch 3 weeks ago, and replaced both bearings as well as the flywheel and pressure plate, the TO bearing retainer looked fine so I didn't change it, guess I just learned the hard way. Let me know if you think of anything else, maybe I'll get lucky, though with me lucky means the roof falling in on my head:happyhapp
