So before i go out and buy a whole new transmission, im gonna ask if someone can maybe diagnose my situation from the symptoms. When i first bought it about a year ago, it needed a new fuel pump, which i installed, got it running, got new brakes, simple stuff, it would hesitate while shifting gears, but it would shift through all of them nonetheless, eventually it stopped shifting into 3rd gear, and now it wont shift into drive, but it will go into reverse no problem.

Possible shift solenoid, line pressure issue, or cracked forward drum. If you take it to a trans shop they can rebuild the trans instead of you buying a whole new trans. Cost the same i think but is easier in my opinion.
