Welcome... The folks in here should be able to help.
Where can you find an Aluminum 2.3L Ford Motorsport head? The Ford Museum propping the door open to the Boss exhibit. :)

Those that are still worth using are in the hands of collectors, and those that aren't are probably beer cans for the 30th time over. They pop up on Evil Bay once every 2nd or 3rd blue moon, and they go for the same as some complete cars.

If you really want an aluminum head, take a look at Esslinger Engineering. It ain't cheap, but it's cheaper than finding a Motorsport head and to some extent, a better head.

Well when you find a HENS TOOTH the head is probably in the BARN. Like big C pointed out they were very RARE and to be honest i only know one guy that has one. He is one of the best ford guys around and bought out all of FORDS 2.3 parts in BULK some many years AGO. I was able to talk him out of 2 IRON expermental 2.5 heads and one is on the MIDNIGHTER. The other is in my basement all machine work finished. Other than that The ESSLINGER is a nice piece but very PRICEY. BO can build a better head for you at a much cheaper price and the steal head is a better unit in my view for whatever its worth. If you are dead set on an exotic head GO VOLVO and call it a DAY Peace Tom

I believe that Esslinger built the Motorsports heads for Ford, I can almost guarantee it. They are nothing more than an Esslinger SVO head. I bought my Esslinger SVO head that's on my stang now in approx. 84, and I wanna say under the valve cover it has the Ford emblem embossed in it, but I would have to check. If you want to make good power the SVO head would be a good one to buy(or the ARCA) and get Bo-port to port it and clean it up for you, I sent mine to him approx. 4 years ago, he did great! It dynoed at 439 rwhp @ 22psi on 93 octane pump gas, and still has alot more in it. And that's a carbed motor, not EFI.
