20" wheels throw off traction control? 2005 Mustang GT
thinkin on puttin some 20" staggered wheels on my 05 gt and was wondering if the traction control system will go crazy. thanks!

i have em on my gt and had on my v6. Nothing is effected. personally i bet TCS is celebrating. Its like going from running in heels to running in nikes lol
well its offical. i just ordered some 20" black boss 338 stagered on nitto 555s. should be here on wednesday. i'll put some updated pics on asap! thanks for the info!

Your V-6 can't overcome the rotational mass of the 20's,especially on your holeshot( i'm betting you loose a full second and a half on your launch). Most 20" rims weigh 30lbs. or more per wheel. Having a V-6 Pony you should keep a set of stock 16 or 17" set just for track thrashing.i wish i ad gone 18s instead of 20s... just got back from the track and im dissapointed =(
ummm.... if you were intending on hitting the track.... its a gimmie not to get 20's.... for the track stick to lightweight 18's....i say 18's cuz if you decide you need some mighty brakes for the track then they will likely fit under the 18's.... do you have your stockers? just through those on next time you hit the track!i wish i ad gone 18s instead of 20s... just got back from the track and im dissapointed =(

20's look good but with no sidewall, they will not perform well at the track!

Well, gotta put somethin in hear to do with the original post.......
20"s are for looks, not for racin.....but you know this by now. Some guys drop down to 15" Bogarts and MTs for real hookup and launches.
