We need to know what type of budget you have. Stud mount rockers and guides are $450.00, hardened push rods are $100.00, springs are $150.00, and machine shop work to have the proper install height for the springs is about $50.00. But you would have to take off the heads and install new gaskets, which again bumps up the price of "just a cam" install. The cam is about $400.00 alone unless you wanted a regrind. Then while you have the heads off, you might as well P&P then and install larger valves. See, it can get expensive quickly.....
You can get a decent cam to support stock rockers and pushrods if that is the way you want to go. It will have decent bump, and help out the nitrous. It will not be as good as getting the package listed above, but it will help because the stock cam runs out quickly on nitrous. You won't have to remove the heads, just the timing cover, accessories, cam synchronizer, timing chain, and the intakes. It is not an easy job for a newbie, but it can be done with the right tools and knowledge.....
Call Tom Y at Supersix and order a cam from him. He can spec you out the right cam for your setup-whichever way you want to go.....
Oh yeah, you should have it tuned right after the cam install.....
