So I finally had some time to mess around with the parameters on my SCT tuner the other day, and I noticed that the rev limiter on the 93 octane bama race tune was moved from stock (6050) to 6500. Does this seem high with stock cams? I haven't ran it this high but I was wondering if it can really take being reved that high, or if maybe it can even be reved higher?

i wouldnt rev it that high. no need to anyway, your not producing power that high in the rpms. learn where youyr max hp is in your rpm range and shift accordingly.

example, my max hp is at like 6100, my car relines at 6700, i shift like at 6300-6400 so i can stay within my max hp all the time i shift. by the time you get to redline, the cars died down power wise.

Set it at 6K, and there's really no need to rev past about 55-5700. Stock cam PI 2V's usually hit peak hp production around like 5300.
