I bought a 2000 Mustang GT today. One the driver's side door the lock pin will not properly engage when the power locks are used. The key works perfectly fine but just when the power locks are used is when it doesn't work.

My similar problem a while back: passenger side power door lock switch would not work correctly; it would UN-lock the door but no lock it. Key would work fine. Master lock switch on driver's side would lock and unlock the passenger door fine.

Fix: install new switch on passenger side.

both side lock switches work, just sometimes the drivers side lock pin will not move up and down. Could it just be getting stuck?
