2000 Mustang, problem with instrument lights

i currently have a 2000 ford mustang convertable and my instrument panel does not light up,i checked the fuses and still cant figure out how to get my dash to light up. any suggestions

Is it the stock gauge face? How many of the lights actually light up? there are 5 bulbs that light up the gauges then there are separate bulbs for all the warning lights on the bottom. If some of the lights light up, check the other bulbs. If nothing lights up it might be a loose wire or something or it is just broken. You can get a used gauge cluster online for pretty cheap. I got mine for $40. You just have to take apart the cluster and use your original odometer and circuit board or your car wont start. Really not too difficult to do.
