Solid rear

Mustangs are built with a solid rear axel. Just means that the rear end is all one unit.
Not all Mustangs are built with a Solid rear, The Cobra's have IRS. All V6's and GT's have the Solid rear unless they have been swapped.

What kind of bearings are we talking about here? Are you talking bout the ones that get pressed into the rear differential? And why would you think you need new bearings? is your rear axle locking up? More info would be good.
