My gauge has been erratic that last couple of mornings so I was planning on replacing the sending unit. In researching this I have learned that the current gauge in no different than an idiot light.

Is there a replacement gauge available that actually shows the oil pressure? not just that I have more than 6 lbs.

I have an autometer oil pressure gauge in my car idk if it reads exactly perfect 25-30psi at idle and is at 75-80 psi at throttle. My sender that came with the kit is adapted to the rail by the oil filter. Ill look up the link i used to install mine.

http://www.miracerros.com/mustang/gauge.html this is the site i used for mine. Youll mainly want to look at the picture of the oil filter and fitting below it. To wire it look at the instructions that auto meter gives you.

I didnt do a temp gauge in my car. I had to put a air/fuel gauge in due to running nitrous. I used the same mounting type like the pictures, one on each side of the stock gauges.
