Hi, I'm new to the forums even though I've had an account for a while. I'm just now getting around to finding a buyer for my car, so I can buy a GT. I'm meeting with someone on Sunday about a 2001 Roush Stage 2 with 127,XXX on the dash. It's going for 5,500, and he's informed me the front bottom air dam needs to be bolted on. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to check/ look out for/ inspect; I'll have my dad who is a mechanic with me. Thanks.

Welcome! I'd for sure make sure it is a Roush and not a clone. Couldn't help you on the price, could be all over. Living where you do, don't have to worry about the rust demon like some of us.

Thanks Dave. What a good name, I happen to be named David :yelpleased:. Yeah I'll make sure to check for the signatures and all the little give-aways. Yess, luckily in California i won't have to really check for or worry about rust. My game plan is to roll up to his house in my girlfriend's 2001 Saleen Speedster and kind of intimidate him a little.:heha:
