My fuel pump fuse is in the pdi box, top left one. I believe it is 20 amp. You can start the car, and pull the fuse until it stalls. Then that would be it....
2001 Mustang V6 3.8L Convertible fuse box diagram
Hi everyone:wavey... Quick, but concise explanation. I have to replace my Camshaft Synchronizer soon because I'm hearing a squeaking noise. It's a 2001 Mustang V6 3.8L convertible with auto transmission. With it I'm suppose to disconnect the fuel pump fuse but I don't know where it is located since I bought the car used. The diagram for the fuse box under the hood is messed up beyond recognition. The diagram for the other box in the compartment under the steering wheel is inexistant. I don't know where it went. So, I was wondering if you guys and gals could help me out finding that one sneaky fuse... or even better.
Point me where I could get a diagram for the two fuse boxes so I know what all fuses belong to and where they are positioned just in case. Thank you sooo much.:yelpleased:

Thanks for the info Shiner... That's a big boost for now. Let's see if I can get my hands on a manual. It should say all the fuses, possible colors, amperage, location and use on the two fuse boxes. Synchronizer working great!
Ok, so... got the synchronizer working great. Fuel one is the 20AMP fuse under the hood located all the way on the top left looking from the left-front fender facing the right fender. Thanks a lot SHINER! You're the man!:worship
Now, I need a little hand from all you guys and gals out there with 3.8L Verts from 99 to 04 which I believe they are just about the same. If you happen to have an owners manual, would you please scan the page with the fuse boxes and the explanations? I really need your help.
I need to know all the fuses and their functions from the fuse box under the hood and the one under the dashboard on the driver's side too. I know the original owners manual should have the diagram and the explanations. Thank you sooo much in advance! Keep rocking the web!:yup:
