I'm in the process of replacing the rear brake pads and rotors on my car and the caliper piston on the passenger side doesn't want to compress. I've tried those brake pad spreader (the one that you have to twist) with the brake fluid cap on and off, and by loosening the bleeder screw. nothing seems to be working.

Anything to help would be appreciated.:worship

You have to screw them in. The parking brake has a screw on it and when you apply the parking brake it turns the screw out a little if the pads have worn. That is what keeps it in adjustment. When you replace the pads you have to screw the piston back in. There is a special tool that you need to do this. Look at the piston and you will see 2 holes where the tool goes in. When you get everything back together you have to use the parking brake to screw the piston back out so that the pads will make contact when you push on the brake pedal.
