Okay, so here's the story. I have a 2002 v6/3.8L mustang.

on my driver's side, the current comes into the door, and the window goes up, but not down. On the passenger side, the current is reaching the switch as well, but the window goes down, not up. This problem has been occurring for months. The switches, etc. in the doors have been replaced, no luck.

Now, the car also has some other problems, that may or may not be related. The radiator fan is not turning, even when the fuse/circuit breaker was changed out (20CB). So basically, sit 3-4 minutes at a red light in city traffic, and the AC is blasting hot air, and the temperature gauge is in the red. (I'm obviously worried constantly about the car overheating, and the fact I cannot put the window down/ I can't breathe when this happens).

The battery has died before, seemingly, randomly.

I had the Car checked with the digital reader at Auto Zone, and was further confused:

Misfire on cylinder 2, and 6 (p0302, p0306)
Catalyst efficiency low-bank 1 (p0420)
Crank sensor condition (p0316)

I am in a very bad financial situation, and cannot afford to pay ford 400 bucks for a gem module, plus the labor/etc.

(the car also has a newer battery, newer spark plugs and wires, new coil, replaced alternator, fuel filter...)

I know this is A LOT but I really need some input. thank you
please advise!

Just wondering. Which is the top problem? The cooling fan or the window?

If this were my car, I would fix the cooling fan first. (who cares about the window if the AC works).

Have you confirmed that the fan runs OK directly from the battery? If so, the odds favor a bad CCRM.

Do you have a set of wiring diagrams?

Have not checked the fan directly in awhile, I will recheck it, also: we have no diagrams, links etc would be greatly appreciated if you have these. (my email is this user name at gmail dot com) I dont know where the Constant Control would be.. also, are you familiar with the Cooling temp sensor? could this affect this as well?
