2002 GT Traction control wont turn off.

I recently bought a 2002 Mustang GT, when I went out for a joy ride I found some empty roads and tried to turn the traction control off to have some fun. When I pushed the button the light didn't turn on, so I turned the car off, started it back up and without moving pushed the button again and still nothing. I checked the fuses and they all seem to be good. Is there a relay that is inline or is my switch bad? I just want to roast my tires!!

Pull the plastic bezel off, it might just not be connected

Could the led in the switch possibly be burnt out?

Did you try doing a burnout before, after or during pushing the button just to see what happened? If so, how did that go? If not, go try.

Im having the same problem with my recently purchased 03 cobra the traction control button light stays lit up and also checked all fuses and all seem to be good ???....
