does the 02gt with a returnless style fuel system have a fuel pressure regulator?... id suggest scannig it or take all 8 of your injectors out and make sure none of them are clogged.if you replaced the pump/filter next i would say clogged injector.. its easy to fix take the 2 bolts off on ea fuel rail and remove them.. be sure to take your intake-tb pipe off first and take the fuel out of the rails using the special tool so it dont squirt everywhere.

they do not, 1999 up have a Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor and his "white" plugs are normal, not sure if thats why he thinks he's lean or not:headscratch:......
now just an fyi, You Cannot Read Sparkplugs using "street" blends of fuel:nono:....you pretty much have tobe using some kind of race fuel, run the car thru the gears and click it of at the top of the rpm band, then and ONLY then will you be able to "read" a sparkplug...as soon as your engine goes to idle and you pull a sparkplug to read, your reading your engine at idle....unless it's a P/A car and then you can view the deposits that show on the porcelain of the sparkplugs which can/will show signs of detonation but on a normal street car that N/A, you wont get much.....

haha yeah i didnt they they had a regulator.. i know the 5.0s do... it doesnt matter how he knows its running lean. personally i can smell it on my exhaust if my cars running lean. he said its missing.. thats a problem. eaither fuel spark or vaccum... another suggestion if the fuel injector cleaning doesnt work. replace your IAT sensor. because the IAt sensor reads how warm/cold of air is coming in the motor. cold air=more gas warm air = less gas.. if that dont work clean your intake air temprature sensor with carb cleaner.

edit: scan for codes see if your getting anything. if you post them il tell you what they are if you dont know.

not a problem as we're all here to learn;).... like the silver thing on the fuel line, it's called a "pulse damper" and is there dampen the fuel pulsation from the electric fuel pumps....

he said he installed the pump because his pressure is low therefore he had the problem before. i say IAT sensor/MAF or a clogged injector.
