hello, I have had my car for about 2 years now and haven't had to fix anything on it for the most part. although, since i have had the car my "check engine" light has been on, but was told by many people it was nothing major. a few days ago driving my car I noticed as i started accelerating it would sort of surge unless i babied it. it has also been leaking what i think is transmission fluid i dont know if the two are related or not. yesterday I had the fuel filter and the oil filter replaced. really need help, dont know hardly anything about cars.

it's an automatic... i heard it may be a coil pack problem??

The check engine light means something. Take it to an Autozone store close to you and they'll tell you what code(s) made it come on. They can tell which fluid is leaking also. The code won't tell us exactly what part needs replaced but it will put us in the right direction. Get this info and get back to us.
